Lesley’s journey into photography started in 2007 when she was traveling extensively and wanted to take better pictures to document her adventures. That mild interest quickly turned into a passion that has stayed with her ever since. She enjoys many areas of photography including nature, abstract, street, and architecture.
She strives to capture a unique view of her subjects. Photography is her way of sharing what she sees with others. She finds it most rewarding when an image can hold someone’s interest and give them a different view of the world.
Lesley resides in Indianapolis, IN. She studied music at Indiana University and had a career in Finance. She left that career behind to pursue her interest in photography. Lesley has had exhibits at First Light Gallery in Louisville, KY, Darkroom Revelations in Indianapolis, IN, Nickel Plate Arts in Noblesville, IN, The Harrison Center in Indianapolis and Eagle Creek Park, Indianapolis, IN. She has won many awards in various photography competitions and her images have been published in an Audubon calendar and the books Capture Indy, and Indiana at 200.
